Strawberry Mango Coconut Water Smoothie

Summer in Florida means the heat is on, beach time is a must, and there’s always a need for something refreshing.  Mangos are readily available and strawberries are still scrumptious, and with the abundance of fresh fruit and nearby farmers markets, there’s no end to what you can whip into a fresh, fruity refresher.

This combination of mangos, strawberries, carrots and coconut water will hydrate and invigorate you… after the beach, the gym, mowing the lawn or even in place of coffee in the morning. Yes, it’s that reviving! It’s a juice-smoothie hybrid perfect for day or night.  A smuice? Juthie? Anyway…

The strawberry-mango blend is a long-time favorite but I wanted to give it an extra pop, so I added some carrots for extra body and a vitamin boost!

The folks at Cocozia were kind enough to gift me a case of their refreshing water to try. I love it all on it’s own but wanted to try to work it into a few things and this is one of my favorite creations.

  1. 1 Cup Mango
  2. 1 Cup Strawberries
  3. 1 Cup Carrots
  4. 6 oz. CoCozia Coconut water
  1. This couldn't be any easier! Just chop fresh mango, clean and remove tops from strawberries. Peel and cut carrots. Make sure the coconut water is super chilled. Drop it all in your Vitamix or blender and give it a whirl.
  2. You can always add ice, but I like the richer flavor from leaving it out. If you prefer an ice cold smoothie, you can always freeze your fruit before blending. I chose to use freshly prepped items.
  1. Most of the prep can be done ahead. I like to have it cold and ready in the fridge so you can pop it all in the blender and in no time you're ready to go!

I just recently got my Vitamix. I held out for a looooong time. A very long time. But, I finally decided to go for it. (Treat Yo’Self! as they say.)  I’ve been using it as much as possible since I got it, working on new juices and smoothies as often as I can.  If you don’t have one, it’s ok –a regular blender should work just fine. Just set it to high and blend until super smooth and well blended.

This is the perfect smoothie for anyone who needs a quick, refreshing bevvie. Whether on your way to work or just back from the gym, it’ll get you pumped and prepped for your day.

Keep cool and dish on!

Thanks to the folks at Cocozia for the coconut water!
