As spring rolls around once more, it is time to start thinking about what to serve at Easter. With all the bright, fresh, crisp colors of the new season we have so much to choose from. Luckily, to help even more, the Blogger C.L.U.E. theme this month is Easter so we’ll get you everything you need to please ol’ Peter Cottontail.
This month I was paired with Wendy from A Day in the Life on the Farm and I had a lovely time looking through her blog. There was so much to choose from, of course. I was on the hunt though for something light, crisp and fresh– so as soon as I saw the Asparagus Tips with Cucumber Vinaigrette– I knew I’d found my post!
Hello! And Happy August C.L.U.E. Day! That’s right, it’s time again for Blogger C.L.U.E. reveal day, and what a sweet day it is. This month we aimed to Beat the Heat, and boy did I try. Have I mentioned how hot it is in Florida? Oh, right, I did. Can the weather break already? I know, I know– it’s too soon, I’ll keep enjoying the beach and be quiet.
Beyond a refreshing dip in the Atlantic, I guess we have to find the most delectable ways to keep cool. And. boy did I find one on Sew You Think You Can Cook. This Frozen Cherry Lemonade is everything you need to have the coolest summer, ever. And, it’s so quick and simple to put together, you won’t even break a sweat.
Happy Spring, friends! I love this time of year, don’t you? Everything is bright, cheery and full of life. (And here in Florida, it’s already beach weather, YAY!) I’m thrilled that it’s time again for Blogger C.L.U.E. and this month’s theme is Spring Vegetables. I may have bent the rules a little this month. Or, maybe I’m just adjacent to them. Yeah, that’s it. My recipe choice is vegetable adjacent. Fruits and vegetables, same family. It works… go with me here…
This was my first go at the Secret Recipe Club, and I was so excited to get started! I was assigned to the lovely Lick the Spoon Blog, run by delightful Louise. I was so impressed by the items on her blog and flipped through the pages looking for what I would recreate. When I saw the lemonade, I knew instantly that it would be the recipe for this post. It looked absolutely refreshingly, thirst quenching and I loved all the pink and pretty in her post. Check it out, the flowers and presentation were just lovely.
